I spent the good part of this Saturday installing these headlights. I tried to educate myself as good as possible at YouTube University and made sure I had all the proper tools at hand. Installation took me from around noon until 6pm. however that included a lunch break, a motorcycle ride to the auto shop to get some UV coating by 3M, and an hour of letting the coating cure (which I did to prevent early yellowing of todays plastic headlight covers). So far Im very pleased. The look of the car is significantly upgraded, and I can finally see in the dark. Pictures say more than a thousand words so I attached a time-lapse video of my installation and some stills. Also, for comparison, a picture of one of the new lights next to one of the replaced original headlights. In short, Im very happy about the nicer look, but its more a significant safety upgrade. Now I will have to keep watching how they perform in the rain, after a car wash, and after a long-term use. If anything changes significantly I will update this review. By the way, my set came with black dividers which I can be painted according to the cars color and place between the large and small lens, to give the car more of a look of the E class.
